Dr. Marc Newman is a board-certified family physician who has been practicing family medicine since 1987. Throughout his career, Dr. Newman's patients have counted on him for not only his clinical expertise, but also his caring demeanor and personal commitment to their health.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Newman has also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family, Community, and Preventive Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine since 1994. There he has taught physicians-in-training and written about understanding patients' feelings, beliefs, and concerns, the role of family, and the patient-physician relationship. In recognition of his accomplishments, Dr. Newman received the prestigious Golden Apple Clinical Teaching Award from the Class of 2008.
